Entrepreneurship, affordable housing, and human connection
Through The & Company, Dan brings an entrepreneurial, people-first approach to technology, focused on empowering individuals to control their identity and data and “helping people find commonality.” He also mentors Kansas City founders, giving time and support to people building things that matter. That concern for people extends to affordable housing in Kansas City through The Way Home, with a belief that the community can create positive change together. His work there builds on longtime support for Community LINC’s efforts to end homelessness, connecting entrepreneurship with practical community service. Before those ventures and community commitments, he studied English and urban studies at St. Olaf College.
People-first identity, smarter marketing, and housing that works for Kansas City
Dan Carroll co-founded The & Company and leads The Way Home’s board in Kansas City, bringing a people-first approach to digital identity and affordable housing. His writing and conversations also trace earlier work in marketing intelligence at AdPredictive and a newer push to give small businesses more usable growth tools through Addi.
